Period #1 -7th Grade Art - Students in this class are well underway with their first project "Movie Poster Design." Here students will learn how to design, layout lettering, to complete a visual pleasing movie poster.*Please note this project will be entered in to a contest with Regal Theaters who will award movie passes to selected posters.
Period #3 & #6 Basic art and Drawing - Students will continue to work on their 3-D Wooden Relief Carvings from sketches they have submitted.When done students will paint finished work and then seal with a clear varnish to have completed and ready to hang.
Period #4 - Graphics Class- Students will be finishing up their individual package design projects or t-shirt on photoshop program.When complete students will begin restaurant menu assignment.
Period #7 Sculpture and Advanced Sculpture- Students finishing up cardboard 3-d sculpture, along with 2 students with clay. Students should finish projects sometime this week, students will then begin a joint project working on carving of "Spartan" a relief carving from pine boards which will be presented to the school at end of year.
